Mathilda Marks Kennedy in Sunday Times Top Schools Guide 2018 article in Jewish Chronicle

Two Jewish schools have been listed in the top 100 state-aided primaries in England, in table produced by this week's Sunday Times table.
The Independent Jewish Day School was the highest placed Jewish school in joint 71st position, while Akiva in Finchley ranked joint 85.

Mrs Weissbraun nominated for PaJes Award, January 2017

Congratulations to Mrs Debbie Weissbraun, our Special Needs Co-ordinator, who has been shortlisted as one of three finalists for the PAJES Special Needs Education Jewish Schools Awards, 2017.

There were 300 special needs practitioners nominated in this category so this an amazing achievement and reflects the outstanding work that she does for special educational needs at MMK.

JC's 175th Anniversary Logo Competition, January 2016

In exchange for doughnuts on Chanukah, the children designed a new logo for the Jewish Chronicle’s 175th Anniversary. The logos designed by the children were bright, exciting and creative. The winner and runners up were announced in the recent issue of the Jewish Chronicle. Runners up from MMK were:

  • Natasha, Year 4
  • Sam, Year 5
  • Zoe, Year 6
  • Joshua, Year 6

MMK child wins Matthew Offord's Chanukah Card Competition, December 2015

Zoe T from Year 6 has been awarded Matthew Offord's (MP) Chanukah Card competition this year. He visited our School to present Zoe with her award. Well done, Zoe!

MMK Awarded Healthy Schools London Gold Award, December 2015

Mathilda Marks-Kennedy School has been awarded the Healthy Schools London Gold Award. MMK and one other Barnet School are the first schools in Barnet to achieve the Gold award. In addition, only 15 other schools across London hold the HSL Gold award at the moment - so it is a fantastic achievement!
